ZÜLAL ÇİZMECİ
In her productions, Zülal Çizmeci focuses on the human mind, questioning the individual's mental and physical relationship with the entirety of the universe's rings, as well as their abstract and concrete interactions. She creates collages, mixed media works, and paper sculptures made from natural materials. Her main material is paper, and she frequently uses old magazines, photographs, and previously marbled papers to make analog and digital manipulations. She often expresses the emotions and ideas she wants to emphasize in her works through the art of marbling. By unveiling the reality of the visuals, she offers the viewer a more liberated space for thought.
