ZEYNEP ERKMAN

Zeynep Erkman (b. Ankara, 2000) is a multidisciplinary artist and designer who transcends traditional medium boundaries. Having studied Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design at Sabancı University, Erkman approaches her art practice as a fluid dialogue between form, color and materiality. In her works, she explores abstraction through painting, sculpture and installation without being bound by specific techniques or materials. By integrating elements of music and movement into her practice, she reflects performative elements in an abstract expressionist style into her works; thus, she aims to offer a comprehensive experience that questions and reconstructs the relationship between the object and the viewer.
