YEŞİM ÖZKAN

Yeşim Özkan is a contemporary artist whose practice approaches the concept of “place” not merely as a geographical location, but through memory, belonging, borders, and displacement. Using various materials and images—including painting, maps, and soil—she explores the relationship between personal and collective memory and space. She has participated in the 43rd Akbank Contemporary Artists Prize Exhibition and Zilberman’s Young Fresh Different ’25 exhibition.
