TUĞBA DEMİRBAŞ

Tugba Demirbas (b. 1999, Zonguldak) graduated from the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Bülent Ecevit University in 2025. Her artistic practice is nourished by personal experiences, inner conflicts, and a search for identity. She creates new narratives by distorting, fragmenting, and reimagining reality. She transforms, exaggerates, and liberates her figures in formal terms. Intense concepts such as hysteria, passion, and freedom lie at the core of her work. Through an emotional and intuitive visual language, she explores the extremes of human nature. Her artistic approach is shaped by a desire to make the contradictions of the inner self visible.
