SİNEM YENİARAS

Sinem Yeniaras (b. 1991, Istanbul) graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture in 2017. She is an artist who has been producing multidisciplinary works, mainly sculpture and illustration, since 2012.

Sinem Yeniaras works on the perception of micro and macro vitality through abstract forms. Her artistic production develops in search of non-human-centered thoughts. She mostly uses sponge as a material in her sculptures. Working with sponge creates the randomness experience that the artist needs in her creative process and enables her to create unique forms. The patterns she uses in her illustrations are symbols that remind us that we are parts of the whole.
