SELİN TAHTAKILIÇ

Selin Tahtakılıç was born in 1995 in Izmir, Turkey. After completing her high school education in Izmir at Işılay Saygın Fine Arts High School, specializing in the Painting department, she entered the Textile and Fashion Design Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. After one year in this department, she transferred to the Graphic Design Department and completed her undergraduate education there. During her studies, she gained experience through internships at advertising agencies before focusing on her personal projects. She has had the opportunity to work on various domestic and international projects and has illustrated children's books. She has participated in various exhibitions. While her works come to life in different platforms, she has combined the embroidery technique she learned at a young age with her own drawings to create new works.
