Ruken Delal Yıldız

Ruken Delal Yıldız (Istanbul, 2002) is a photographer and filmmaker. She completed her bachelor’s degree in the Department of Photography and Video at Yıldız Technical University in 2025.

Her work centers on the relationship between time, memory, the body, and nature; she focuses particularly on human fragility and the need for protection through the lens of animals and natural environments. In her practice, photography is not merely a two-dimensional surface but a structure that establishes a relationship with space and the viewer. By setting up studios in barns, she documents the present using digital techniques and analog cameras, creating projects that bridge the gap between old and new techniques.
