ÖZGÜN SEZEN

She was born in Bursa in 1976. She attended high school at Bursa Anatolian Fine Arts High School in the painting department from 1990 to 1994. In 1998, she graduated from the Painting Department of Uludağ University and worked as a painting teacher in private colleges. Additionally, during her teaching career, she continued her personal art studies and held personal exhibitions in his studio in Bursa. She currently resides in Bursa and contributes to the education of young and adult art enthusiasts by providing private ‘basic art education’ in her studio, while also continuing her personal art studies.

In most of her works, she uses various surfaces such as acrylic paint on canvas, resin on aluminum panels, and special paper. She explains the inspiration behind her artworks as follows: ‘My works reflect the energy and teachings of cosmic existence, which is my source of inspiration. This teaching tells the story of the beginning of time, the formation of molecules, stardust, and the emergence of organic life particles. In each of my works, I transfer cosmic wisdom and love to the canvas by touching the mysterious roots of the universe. I design each artwork to have a unique and personal interpretation that cannot be repeated.’
