OĞULCAN EKİZ
Ekiz, a photographer and copyright academic, lives in London. In his PhD at Queen Mary University of London, he researches the impact of copyright on the context of photography. His works have previously been featured in group exhibitions held in Istanbul, Amsterdam and London. Ekiz has been working with Art/Law Network, a UK-based interdisciplinary research institution, since 2018. In 2020, he started interviewing Eastern European photographers for EEP Berlin Magazine. Ekiz is currently on the candidate list for the Afterall Writer in Residence 2020 program. He became one of the third-stage finalists with his application to the 2019 FOAM Talent open call with the 'Zeroth Layer' series.
