MİNE AKCAOĞLU
She was born in 1982. She studied at Sakarya University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. In 2010, she published her thesis titled "Space-Space Relationship in Post-1960 Painting Art in the Process of Transition from Photographic Reality to Pictorial Representation" at Sakarya University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Painting. The artist built her works on the concept of time, which we define as before and after. She uses photographic realities when creating her works. While she carries the reality she has acquired from her own lens or someone else's lens onto the painting surface, she makes the canvas the place of the new reality. She refers to the concept of time with this movement and change that takes place while transforming the photographic object into an image.
