İREM ÇAKALOĞLU

She was born in Istanbul in 1993. In 2012, she received a scholarship from Yeditepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Fashion and Textile Design. In 2014, she started a double major program in the Department of Plastic Arts and Painting. After graduating from both departments with honors in 2018, she started the Master's Program at Yeditepe University Social Sciences Institute, Department of Plastic Arts and Painting in 2020 and continues to work on painting.

Çakaloğlu; She continues her work by making spatial abstractions on the fast, dynamic and at the same time monotonous structure of life by addressing social life, personality, the similarity of society in the process, and the differentiation of living standards through the concepts of time, space and human. While spaces reflect social life changing over time, they are also places where individuals meet on common ground. She aims to reflect all moments of life by creating monochrome works in her works.
