HÜSEYİN RÜSTEMOĞLU

He was born in Bursa in 1981. He graduated from Sakarya University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2006. He completed his master's degree at Sakarya University Social Sciences Institute, Department of Painting, in 2012 with the thesis 'Nudity and Eroticism Phenomenon in Modern Painting'. In his paintings, the artist separates the individual from society and draws attention to his other structure, while doing this, he de-identifies the individual. It strips the individual who is identified with social processes and creates isolation from society and internal conflict through their bodies.

Man's existential anxiety is questioned in studies created based on the concepts of loneliness, alienation, lack of belonging, and aloneness. He bends, bends, shrinks and hides bodies or limbs in order to make visible the psychological tensions created in the individual by the concepts of lack of identity, nothingness, emptiness, frozenness, apathy, leaving, abandoning, abandoning and giving up. In his works, in which he makes his own body an object, the figure-skin-body relationship, usually in abstract spaces, is depicted within the framework of the problematic of existence. The artist, whose works have been exhibited in many fairs, personal and group exhibitions, continues his life and work in Istanbul. Some of the artist's works are in various private collections, including the Luciano Benetton Foundation.
