Ferzan Aktaş

Born in 1984 in Izmir, Aktaş graduated with honors from the Graphic Design Department of Yeditepe University, which she entered on a scholarship in 2007. Between 2008 and 2011, she worked as a research assistant in the Graphic Design Department at Maltepe University, and from 2011 to 2014, she worked as a freelance graphic designer. During this period, she participated in group exhibitions and produced works in the field of painting.

In her works, Aktaş addresses human existence, the search for identity, and humanity's impact on non-human entities, as well as societal contradictions, through a metaphorical lens. She establishes connections between grotesque expressions, ironic humor, and a dark reality, questioning the complexities of human nature and the social dynamics behind environmental destruction.

Since 2014, she has been living and continuing his work in Çanakkale.
