Ece Akdemir is a visual artist born in Istanbul. Her artistic journey began with a deep passion for painting dating back to her childhood years and has evolved into a unique artistic voice over time. Her works, which blend surrealism, vivid symbolism and dreamlike narratives, invite the viewer to different emotional and intellectual journeys. After graduating from Istanbul Bilfen High School, she studied at Sabancı University for one year and then studied Product and Interior Design at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan. This academic background has given her art a structural and emotional depth. She has also worked in different creative sectors as a concept artist, graphic designer and art director, but painting has been her true form of expression. On November 29, 2024, she opened her first solo exhibition consisting of 23 original works, demonstrating her commitment to art and her innovative perspective. Ece Akdemir's works aim to push artistic boundaries and produce thought-provoking works while visually and emotionally dragging the viewer to inner discoveries.
