BELGİN YÜCELEN

Multidisciplinary artist Belgin Yücelen aims to define herself and awaken consciousness through film, painting, printmaking, installations, and sculptures. In her imaginative worlds, she calls for yet unrealized possibilities and invites the audience to find their own dreams and to get to know themselves. In 2022, her animation on global warming was featured in Denver Digerati's "Silent Screen" program; she held a solo exhibition titled "Ode to Uncertainty" at the Denver Art Center ArtGym and released her film "Borrowed Stories"; her solo exhibition titled "On Time" was showcased at the Boulder Museum of Modern Art. Her latest film "Dream Room" is being screened at the Emmanuel Gallery in Denver.

Yücelen, who continues her work in the state of Colorado in America, organizes artistic events at the art center she founded in 2019. She writes poetry and theater plays. In collaboration with Clinical Psychologist Dr. Güldeniz Yücelen in America and Turkey, she organizes workshops under the title "Appointment with Myself," based on art, psychotherapy methods, and Far Eastern philosophies, aiming to strengthen our connection with happiness within us.
