The artist, who says "The future is unpredictable without the past. The new has emerged from the old, has existed depending on the old, but is never a repetition of the old; it is a completely different composition," creates collage works by combining traditional ceramic art with the underglaze decoration technique and digital printing technique. Aysel Güneş, who focuses on how we can interpret production forms belonging to tradition in today's context, strives to create multiple narratives and expand the boundaries of content. Presenting the traditional and the digital on the same surface, the artist continues exhibition and workshop activities at "Atelier 217" established in İzmir, Büyük Kardıçalı Han, in 2016.
