AYŞE TUĞ

She was born in Istanbul in 1982. She graduated from the Graphic Design Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. Ayşe Tuğ continues her graphic and painting works together.

I especially enjoy manipulating the perspective. Something disturbs me when everything is ordered. As if without a soul. When the order is corrupted, there is somehow a feeling of life in the mess. A coat hanged on a chair, an umbrella standing on the corner, a woman going (or not able to go) back... At the same time, there is a lonely feeling. I hope that it will cause others to ask questions, or weave stories. Because, I also like to listen others’ stories.
