ATİLLA GALİP PINAR

He was born in Ankara in 1978. He studied at Marmara University, Atatürk Education Faculty, Painting Department between 1996 and 1997, and at Mimar Sinan University, Fine Arts Faculty, Sculpture Department between 1997 and 2003. After graduation, he focused on painting. He won the First Prize in the painting competition on 'Individual Disarmament' organized by Umut Foundation in 2004, and the Akbank Contemporary Artists Award in 2018.

In addition to his personal exhibitions, the artist's works took part in many group exhibitions, symposiums and art fairs and were included in private collections at home and abroad. In his works; The uneasy mood of the individual who realizes his helplessness, loneliness and captivity in the face of existence, and the relationship between man and nature; The artist continues his work in Istanbul, where figures, colors and forms are chosen meticulously, and he reflects them with detailed and high-energy compositions, often combining different visual languages.
