Tayyibe Benek
Tayyibe Benek was born in the Nazilli district of Aydın in 1995 and lived in Aydın between 2001-2013.
She came to İzmir for university education and started her education life in the Department of City and
Regional Planning, leaving this department and continuing in the Painting Department of the Dokuz
Eylül Fine Arts Faculty, graduating from this department in 2020. She continued her work in her own
atelier for two years and moved to Istanbul at the end of 2021. Mixed techniques and different
materials are seen in her works, which strive to create or find a story and narrative.
