Sinem Yeniaras

Sinem Yeniaras (b. 1991, Istanbul) graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Marmara University in 2017. She is an artist who has been producing multidisciplinary works, mainly sculpture and illustration, since 2012.

Sinem Yeniaras works on the perception of micro and macro vitality with abstract forms. Her artistic production flourishes around the search for non-human-centered thoughts. Also, she mainly uses sponge as a material in her sculptures. Thus, working with a sponge creates the experience of randomness that the artist needs in her creative process and allows her to create unique forms. The patterns she uses in her illustrations are symbols that remind us that we are parts of the whole.
