Özge Akdeniz

Özge Akdeniz (Istanbul, 1997) graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department in 2019. She continues her postgraduate studies at Mimar Sinan University, Department of Sociology. In her works, the artist researches the role of the mind’s meaning-making process in the relationship established with images; focuses on the transformation possibilities of perception, identification and association. The artist, who determines her medium according to the dialogue she establishes with the image, produces works mainly on painting.
