Nagihan Aydınlık

Nagihan Aydınlık (b.1994, Istanbul) completed her undergraduate education at Yildiz Technical
University, department of Communication Design. She went to Berlin in 2017 for an internship.
Then, she worked as a visual designer in a private company. She won the Sabanci University
Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design Graduate Program with full scholarship. After her
master’s degree and assistantship, she continues her artistic production and design career.
The artist produces art works in different media such as illustration, animation and embroidery.
She generally works on issues such as the female body, women’s social roles, gender inequality
and social taboos. She participated in group exhibitions such as IKSV Altkat, BASE 2020, Mixer
Sessions V, 9. Dali International Photography Exhibition (China). She held her first solo
exhibition in 2021 at Sabanci University Fass Art Gallery.
