Mesud Ata

Mesud Ata is a multifaceted individual who, in addition to his art practice, has made significant contributions to the fields of journalism, writing, and editing for many years. He has worked extensively for renowned literary, political, humor, and cartoon magazines such as Leman, Yeni Harman, L-Manyak, Bayan Yanı, Harakiri, and Karakarga. Additionally, he played a crucial role as a founding member of Karakarga Yayınları, a prominent graphic novel publishing house. Assuming the position of publishing coordinator, he dedicated himself to curating a diverse selection of classic and contemporary works from the world of independent graphic novels. In parallel with his career in arts publishing, he continues to create in different mediums and his education in the master’s program of Art and Design at Yıldız Technical University.
