Merve Zeybek
Born in Adapazarı, the artist graduated from Marmara Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Arts Department Illumination Miniature A.S.D in 2013. She continues her master’s program at Marmara University Fine Arts Institute. She has been working as a paper conservator at Enderun Art Gallery since 2013. In her works, she examines the relationship between form and ground with the forms she created with plant analysis. Using the concepts of birth, life and death as metaphors, she interprets the traditional point of view in a contemporary way.
