Merve Dündar

Merve Dündar was born in Istanbul and completed her undergraduate education at Boğaziçi University Department of Economics, and her master’s degree at Yeditepe University Plastic Arts Department with her thesis named “Fragments, Borders, Body and Meaning”. She attended the workshop of Irina Nakhova at the Salzburg Academy of Fine Arts. In her works, she questions the relationship of the inner world with the outside, the boundaries between individual and social self, interactions, and the concepts of self and reality. The rhythm that is tried to be caught with repetition and repetition comes to the fore in her work, which can be defined as the effort to catch the rhythm between the inner self and the outer world.
