Melda Yaramış
Melda Yaramış was born in Tokat, Turkey in 1994 After completing her high school education in Painting Department of Tokat Fine Arts High School, she started Painting Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. After graduation, she moved to a village in Poland. During one year in Poland, she spent her time and expertise to working with both children and seniors, curating workshops. She returned to Istanbul end of the 2019 and started her master’s degree in Art and Design in Mimar Sinan Fine Art University. In 2022 she graduated with her thesis titled ” Levity and The Construction of Humor in Contemporary Art”. In recent years, she has participated in various composite exhibitions. Inspired by a variety of sources, her work focuses on post-truth agendas, dreams and humor, combining the techniques of oil, ceramics and watercolor. Today, she continues her artistic practice in her own studio located in Kadıköy.
