Lütfullah Genç

Born in 1994 in Giresun. Graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts Division of Ceramics as a valedictorian. Took lessons from University of West Hungary as an exchange student and International Ceramics Studio Kecskemet. Currently he furthers his education in Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts Division as a master student, while working on his thesis in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University as a guest student. Genç focuses on the concepts of class, object, and memory in his works. He approaches the illusions in the perception of the human psychology from the object’s point of view.

The artist presents long-lived objects remained in the memory by filtering them through a blurred perception. While the artist benefits from the tension of perception, using oppositions whether narrow or large; he aims to open new grounds to the audience. While doing so, he works firstly with ceramics among different mediums, creating new media and installation art
