İpek Yücesoy
In 2015, she graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law. Afer graduation, she prepared for the faculty of fine arts. In 2016, she started her education at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Sculpture Department. In 2021, she took part in the exhibition titled “İstanbul’da Şifa Bulmak” with his sculpture titled “Oradalar II”. This site- specific sculpture was permanently installed in the Yaklaşım Tüneli, a new art space in Beyoğlu owned by Metro A.Ş., a subsidiary of IBB, and the venue of the 17th Istanbul Biennial. Interested in issues of community and belonging, the artist addresses these issues through silhoueees, metamorphosed figures and traces. Her works are dominated by fragmented compositions created with bifacial forms.
