Ekin Keser

Ekin Keser (b.1993 Hatay) entered the Depertment of Art Teachind at Marmara University in 2011. His conceptual fields of study are LGBT+, veganism, human rights, pornography and nature. His productions have been determined by various disciplines he interacts with at certain times. He’s stil living in İstanbul and has been going on his studies at university.

Artist Statement:

While carrying out the discipline shaped by the idea, the artist tries to produce his work of art by combining the idea, the material, and the society. İn his interdiciplinary field of work, Ekin Keser searches for the impact of Lgbti+, veganism, human rights, pornography, and nature on himself and the people around him. Trying to find out the deepest roots of the problem, he tries to transcend the pains caused by the subconscious and social effects instead of fetishizing them. He looks into the importance of any kind of expression in language and lets the piece of art be alone with the ‘language’ of the spectator.
