The artist tries to question the search for existential parts in the human psyche by basing her works on the concepts of selfawareness, identity and self. Throughout the formation process and the self can be influenced by many external factors, but there is a unique piece that it has. Using the metaphor of “Smoke Screen” for this search, the artist emphasizes that the state of uncertainty and ambiguity in the human soul collapses like a smoke screen on the self and finding. The reason for the ambiguity of the human soul and character actually stems from its alienation from it, and with the effect of this alienation, the images appear blurry and indistinct. While the artist researches these concepts, using her own photographs and using the reference of portrait and figure.
It is a conscious choice for the artist to use her own photographs or photographs. The reason for this preference is to create new selves with penture elements over memories and moments and to question the existing value. She continues to work in his workshop in Istanbul.
