
Ece Beylikci
Ece Beylikci was born in Istanbul in 1991. She completed her primary education at the Hisar Education Foundation’s School and received the Excellence in Plastic Arts award. She had her first solo exhibition as she graduated from high school at Fevziye Schools Foundation Ayazaga Isik High School.
In 2013 she graduated from University of the Arts London Chelsea College of Art and Design with honors. In 2014 she completed her graduate studies at the University of the Arts London Chelsea College of Art and Design.While she lived in London, she attended many workshops and participated in several group exhibitions.
In 2015 she started her PHD studies at the Yeditepe University’s Plastic Arts Department in Istanbul where she currently is a doctorate student.
As Ece continues her work at her studio in Istanbul, she concentrates on the themes of the reflection of multiculturalism on spaces. She sees space as the echo of the inner journeys of people and also a determining factor of cultural identities.
