Cemal Nazım Arslan

Cemal Nazım Arslan’s works are based on nature. He is a multi-disciplinary artist who abstracts the images of nature with the search for cultural identity and various forms. His works reflect the evolving and renewing ideas brought by the contemporary world, creates a kind of emotion that identifies him with nature. He usually depicts nature without people. The artist exhibits a spiritual and introspective view by designing a dramatic atmosphere with the use of light and dark colors in his works. Cemal Nazım Arslan (,İzmir), who lives in İzmir, graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. He received his master’s degree in Art and Design from the same school. He continues to study Philosophy at Anadolu University. He continues his works in his own studio in Izmir.
