Bawer Doğanay

Bawer Doğanay was born in 1990 in Mardin.

After graduating from Mardin Artuklu University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2018, Dokuz Eylul University Fine Arts Institute in the same year

Painting Department started her master’s degree, the artist, who is in the thesis process, held her first personal exhibition in Istanbul Ferda Art Platforma in October 2021.

He is currently working and producing in Mardin.

The figures he uses in his paintings live in the fantastic world of ambiguous sensuality and the sincere, everyday moments of their lives are the subject.

Here, individuals; explorer, discusser and spectator are depicted with the Flaneur manners.

Rich oil painting areas, stone decorations, motifs, historical buildings,

plain-sky, clouds come together between fact and fiction, revealing a version of the historical picture.

The areas processed with multiple color selections contain design elements of both primitive and contemporary art.

With the influence of the age they are in, the individuals in the paintings are the main representatives of Nihilist and Romantic behaviors.
